I'm Steve. I do the work myself.

I've been swinging a hammer for 35 years and running this business here in Cleveland for 26 of them.

Before any of that, I served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1978. The Army taught me two things that stuck: show up when you say you will, and finish what you start. That's about the whole philosophy of this business.

I work alone. No crews, no subcontractors, not ever. When you call me, you get me — I come look at the job, I give you the price, and I'm the one in your house doing the work. Nobody hands your bathroom off to a stranger halfway through.

I also keep you in the loop. Every day I'm on your job I'll tell you what I did, what I ran into, and what's happening tomorrow. Most of the complaints I hear about other contractors come down to homeowners not knowing what's going on in their own house. That won't happen with me.

Over the years folks have been kind enough to recognize the work. I'm accredited with the Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating, I won the Angie's List Super Service Award 6 consecutive years in a row, and I was named Best of Tennessee for 2025. I'm licensed and insured (TN 15224095), which protects you as much as it protects me.

Bathrooms are my favorite work — tile, showers, vanities, the whole room. But I also hang doors, lay floors, frame and finish drywall, update kitchens, and knock out the repair list that's been on your refrigerator since spring. No job is too small. Some of my best customers started with one loose railing.
